…on nomination of the faculty of Thurgood Marshall College have conferred upon ME for my bachelors degree in political science! It finally came in the mail. Took over 4 months but I finally have my $30,000 piece of paper.

We got a new copy machine this morning and I’ve already managed to break it.

So there was a paper jam. I follow the instructions on the screen and pull out the side door. No paper there. I push the door back in and it jams. Jams to the point where I can even move it. I called my bff Ralph, the UBT technician, and he can’t come out until tomorrow morning.

Anyone who works in this office knows how often UBT comes out. Every week. Our pos machine got picked up this morning and I was hopeful this new one would last more than a day. I’m going to give it another chance tomorrow because this could be classified as user error.

Today was just a busy day. I had tons of stuff to do at work and got pulled away mid afternoon for a side project. The snow was still present but with the rain/sleet, it started to melt making it VERY slippery outside. So what do I decide to do? Run home.

It was a little slippery at times but I made it home in about 40 mins. It wasn’t really smart because it was still kinda raining outside. I get home completely drenched and now have my fingers crossed that I don’t wake up sick tomorrow morning.

You really just can’t beat a view like this though.
