I am on vacation
From school that is. I submitted my final this morning and got it back two hours later with an A-, giving me an A in the course! Woot! I’m done with school until Sept. 14th. Soccer doesn’t start until Sept. 12th either so I literally have nothing to do for like 3 weeks! I can’t remember the last time I’ve had this much free time.
I move on Monday into a new place in Chinatown/Mt. Vernon Square area. It’s a brand new luxury apartment and I am stoked to have nice appliances and a washer/dryer in my unit. 98% of my apartment is packed and ready to go. My mom has been in town the last couple days hanging out and helping.
On another note, I turn 24 next weekend. TWENTY FOUR. That is officially mid twenties status. I’m kinda freaking out because I feel like my youth is passing me by! I work full time and go to school part time at night. Just two years ago, school was my full time job! This being an adult thing isn’t as cool. I want to sleep until noon, go out all night, and still manage a 3.0 at school. Unfortunately, those days are over. I think I just need more friends in DC. I probably only have maybe 10-12 friends in DC and half of them are my co-workers! Sad right?
While we’re on the subject of pathetic, I’m going back to watching Project Runway. It’s thirsty Thursday and I’m at home, sitting on my couch, watching Project Runway with my mom.
Love, etc
Why hasn’t someone turn me on to the Pet Shop Boys sooner?! I have “Love, etc” on repeat! I heard it today inside Express and used my handy dandy iPhone to capture the song.Excellent song if you’re into that kind of music. And of course, we can’t forget about the new Backstreet Boys single.
My current “21″. I’m waiting for “Limelight” by Rush to finish downloading. It will be on there shortly.

The Boys are in Town
My little brothers from San Diego took a trip East for a few days. So far, they have yet to really argue with each other and have been well mannered! We’ve seen the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Wall, Ford’s Theater, Pentagon, American History Museum, and the Air and Space Museum.
Hopefully tomorrow, weather pending, we will make it out to Hurricane Harbor to cool off. It’s been in the low 90s all week!
They go home Monday night and start school a week or two after. It’s been great having them and babysitting still remains to be an excellent form of birth control!
